  7. The 5 lines above are required to run MIMIC, a program which will import
  8. the text file specified on the DOS command line and produce MIMIC.IN, a
  9. text file formatted for import to your message database via the UTIIMPRT
  10. program (one of the UTI drivers available for Wildcat! and other popular
  11. BBS software packages.)

  13. Here's a brief explanation of the lines:

  15.      TO=           Place the name of the intended message recipient in
  16.                    this field.  You must limit the length to the number
  17.                    of characters allowed by your BBS software.
  18.  
  19.      FROM=         Place the name of the author of the message in this
  20.                    field.  You must limit the length to the number of
  21.                    characters allowed by your BBS software.
  22.  
  23.      SUBJECT=      Indicate the subject of the message here.  This field
  24.                    will accept upper and lower case.  You must limit the
  25.                    length of this field to the number of characters allowed
  26.                    by your BBS software.
  27.  
  28.      PVTFLAG=      If you'd like this message to be private, put the word
  29.                    YES in this field.  
  30.  
  31.      ECHOFLAG=     If you'd like this message to be echoed to the network,
  32.                    put the word YES in this field.  
  33.  
  34.
